So far i am not too sure what music genre i wish to follow if any as i want to keep all ideas available and at the moment i am keen on the idea of not having a particular theme/genre as it will open my magazine to a far bigger audience, however this could be over complicating the magazine which is my main worry.

However i am keen on a number of layouts in which i would like to follow such as:

-Blender

-Record Collector

-VIBE

The reason in which i am drawn to these particular layouts, is that they are very much fashion based however staying on the idea of music. They all have a sense of style and popularity that i believe can be a neutral look so i can aim at diffrent audineces as well as drawning all the customers/audinece in.
