Whilst researching music magazines, i found it will be useful to do a breif research on some artists i want my magazine to promote and have a genre link to. It will also allow me to look at styles in which i can use for my photoshoot.

KID CUDI

Kid Cudi  is a artist that i would want promoted in my magazine due to his wide fan base and diversity in music genre, as his music covers the several music genres my magazine attempts to cover. The attitude he has towards music, as well as his meaningful lyrics would be a great image for any music magazine.

He also shares an image of being very stylish, and he is one of few artists that manage to pull of all looks, from indie to 'gangster'.



                                                                                 LIL WAYNE

Lil Wayne is another artist i would like to stylise my magazine on as he aims towards the rap industry, however his dress sense and often choice of lyrics grabs the rock/indie audience to his attention.

He is also someone who is known for the style in clothing and fashion, which i the main task of my magazine combining music with fashion.


 LADY GAGA

Lady Gaga is a perfect example of someone I would like to promote in my magazine. Her music collaborations with various artists makes her known and enjoyed in a number of music genres.

She is also the prime example of the magazines theme, that is combining music and fashion. Her outrageous and eye catching choice in clothing makes her headline when it comes to this combination.
She is also currently seen as one of the best female artists around, which would give my magazines status that extra touch.
