Music Genre

There are many music genres out there however from research i have found only few have successfull music magazines linked to them.
Music genres that have successfull magazines linked to them are the likes of:

• Dance
• Rap
• Indie
• Indie Rap
• Classical
• Rock
• Pop
• R'n'B

From researching these music genres and their magazines, I have found that there are few magazines that attempt to cover a wide range of audiences as they find it alot less of a risk to target one type of audience.

I will therefore attempt to exploit this gap in the market and create a magazine that covers a range of music genres. The music genres my magazine will consist of are the following:

• Dance
• Rap
• Pop
• Indie Rap

The reason in which i chose those particular genres was that, through research i found they were the most popular and therefore most succesfull.
Aiming at a number of genres meens factors such as styling of models or colour schemes of the magazine will be difficult, however i feel by keeping my magazine very mutual and clean cut, it will suit all genres.
