Research that needs to be carried out

To be able to create a new music magazine with a unique selling point it is important that i carry out particular research. The main areas that have to be covered are:

• Music Genres (Out Currently) - Research on genres will be important as not only will it give me an idea on what particular genre to base my magazine on, but also what they consist of and how diffrent factors contribute to diffrent genres.
• Artists That Suit Magazine Styles - It is important that i research the sort of artists/ role models that suit my type of magazine as it will give me an idea of who to base my picture models on and also as a way to see how other magazines use artists/ role models to link to the magazine idea or genre.
• Competition Music Magazines- It is important to research competition to my magazine simply to enable my magazine to be unique and stand out.
• What Makes A Successful Magazine- This will simply be looking at successfull music magazines to see what similarites they have that makes them so succesfull.
